Our approach
Hailo Gather is built on public data about places, not private data about people. We hold as little as possible about you, and we don't sell or share what we do hold.
What we collect
Account details - your name, email address, the church or organisation you serve, and your role. You give these to us when you sign up.
Mission zones you choose - postcodes, parish boundaries, or neighbourhoods you ask us to listen to.
Service usage - basic logs about how the product is used so we can keep it reliable and improve it.
We do not collect or process personal data about the people who live in the neighbourhoods you observe. Our community signals are drawn from public, aggregated datasets.
Why we use it
To deliver the briefings you've asked for, to keep your account secure, to send service-related messages, and to understand how the product is being used so we can improve it.
Who we share it with
Trusted infrastructure providers who help us run the service (hosting, email delivery, error monitoring). They process your data on our instructions and under contract. We do not sell your data to anyone.
How long we keep it
We keep your account information for as long as your account is active. If you close your account, we delete or anonymise your personal details within 30 days, unless we're required to keep something longer by law.
Your rights
You can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to hello@gather.nexlora.dev and we'll respond within 30 days.
Cookies
We use a small number of essential cookies to keep you signed in and the service working. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes, we'll let you know by email or in the product before they take effect.
